Overview

Azazel, known throughout history as the Dark Angel and Lord of Darkness, is one of the oldest and most dangerous beings in the Enforcer Universe. Once entrusted with the power of Darkness by his father, King Gabriel the Red, Azazel was meant to keep that power under control. Instead, his growing cruelty and desire for control led to his fall.

Over the centuries, Azazel has manipulated events from the shadows, shaping history while waiting for the opportunity to reclaim his influence over the world. Intelligent, patient, and calculating, he serves as the primary villain of the Enforcer Trilogy.

Azazel was granted dominion over the power of Darkness by King Gabriel. Originally intended to keep Darkness under control, Azazel eventually embraced it fully.

History

Son of Gabriel

During the Age of Darkness, King Gabriel the Red arrived to help humanity survive a demonic invasion. Gabriel fought beside his sons: Kronos, Azazel, and Priest. Following humanity's liberation, Gabriel divided the world among them. Azazel was given dominion over the East and entrusted with the power of Darkness. 

The Fall of Azazel

Over time, Azazel became increasingly cruel and controlling. He allowed demons to torment his people and used gifted powers to manipulate others like puppets. His actions placed him at odds with his brother Kronos. 

War of the Brothers

Azazel and Priest eventually embraced Darkness completely, marking themselves with dark tribal markings to increase their power. Together they defeated Kronos before Gabriel intervened, sacrificing his own life force so Kronos could become the Red Angel. 

The resulting conflict became known as the War of the Brothers. Kronos ultimately emerged victorious, banishing Azazel into Darkness. 

Modern Era

Prime Meridian

In modern times, Azazel secretly operates under the identity of Prime Meridian, allowing him to influence world events while remaining hidden from humanity. 

Dark Angel Emerges

Following Eric Roy's transformation into the Enforcer, Azazel begins actively advancing his plans once again. His influence spreads through organizations, followers, and supernatural forces as he prepares for the conflict ahead.

King Gabriel the Red

Azazel's father and the original Red Angel. Gabriel's sacrifice ultimately helped Kronos defeat Azazel during the War of the Brothers.

Kronos

Brother and greatest rival. Kronos represents Light while Azazel embodies Darkness. Their conflict has shaped the history of the world.

Brother and occasional ally. Together they embraced Darkness and fought against Kronos during the ancient war.
